Fishing And Whitehaven Beach Tour
Explore Whitehaven Beach And Go Fishing
Our new fishing and Whitehaven Beach tour has been a prevalent charter option this year, especially for families. In the morning, dad and the kids enjoy time together catching the fish of the day. The mums relax on the comfortable mezzanine lounge overlooking the family fun, capturing all the special moments on camera. After lunch, everyone goes ashore for a short bush walk to a lookout with panoramic views of the Whitsunday Islands. They are finishing a refreshing swim before boarding the vessel to cruise home through many picturesque islands.
Start Your Day With Fishing
Begin your Whitehaven Beach and go fishing experience by navigating to your deep-sea fishing location. We want to make your trip with us a great day on the water and an unforgettable bluewater fishing experience. Regardless of your level of angling experience, we aim to put you on the fish! The morning 3 to 4-hour fishing experience can be a mixture of fishing styles. Start the day trolling for big Spanish mackerel or tasty long-tail tuna. (fresh sashimi, yes, please) End the fishing trip with bottom fishing for nannygai, coral trout and a variety of snapper/sweetlip/cod. After the fishing session, it’s time to venture to Whitehaven Beach for lunch and exploring.
Let’s Explore Whitehaven Beach
Whitehaven Beach is a pristine, award-winning beach on Whitsunday Island, the largest of the 74 islands in the Whitsundays. Whitehaven Beach stretches over seven kilometres and boasts brilliant white silica sand that is among the purest in the world. Sink your feet into the sand and wade into the warm waves that gently lap the shore, and you’ll soon realise why people come here from all over the world.
Southern Whitehaven Beach
We mainly head to Southern Whitehaven Beach for the best calm anchorage from the southeasterly trade winds. This end of the beach also has a new lookout that will mesmerise your eyes! On one side, you will see the sparkling turquoise waters through the many southern islands. On the other, you will see 7 km of white pure silica sand stretching up towards the northern hill inlet. This lookout platform starts from the beach and is approximately 1 km one way through the Australian native bush.
Northern Whitehaven Beach
From lookouts on the crest of Tongue Bay, admire the breathtaking vistas over the inlet. Marvel at the ever-changing shifting sands created by the moving tides. All three lookout platforms have excellent views. If the first one is too crowded, move on to the second or third for an unobstructed view of the inlet. Be sure to have your camera ready to capture outstanding panoramic images! Keep an eye out for migratory wading birds foraging in the shallow waters and stingrays feeding there too.
