Helpful Buggy Hire Information
Make the most of holidaying in a car-free destination and explore the island at your own pace with a Hamilton Island golf buggy. (Subject to availability) We highly recommend booking ASAP if your accommodation does not come with one!
Guest Restaurant Information
Once you have completed your accommodation and buggy hire, we recommend booking your dinner reservations! Hamilton Island offers a selection of renowned restaurants where you can enjoy a superb meal, marvel at the spectacular views, and soak up the relaxed island atmosphere. Choose from long, lazy lunches, romantic dinners, or casual, family-friendly outings.

So you have had a great day on the water fishing with Topnotch Game Fishing & you would like one of the restaurants to cook up your catch of the day. And why not? After all, you are on holiday! We have found that all the restaurants on the island can cook up your catch for a small fee. We advise contacting the restaurant of choice to find all the required information, and they will walk you through their process. Usually, the chefs recommend the fish be dropped off at the restaurant by 5:00 pm & presented at a very cool temperature. They will also ask you to sign a waiver form as well. Book Early To Avoid Disappointment!
Hamilton Island is set to have one of its busiest years to date! Topnotch Game Fishing highly recommends booking your fishing charter as soon as possible to avoid the disappointment of missing out on possible availability! You can’t book early enough for your favourite fishing charter!
Cashless Island
Another very helpful island guest information and recommendations hot tip!!! This island is pretty much cashless now after the COVID-19 event in 2020. The Westpac Bank and the ATM closed down as of early December 2021. However, the Hamilton Island Marina Tavern only accepts cash in the upstairs gaming area. You can roughly get cash out up to the value of $200.00. Note that nowhere on the island allows you to buy food using cash as payment. If you arrive at the island with cash and wish to use it, you can always go to the Hamilton Island Post Office and obtain a gift Master Card. They cost approximately $6.00 & you can put $500.00 on the card to be used swiping for purchases.
