Topnotch Game Fishing Report
Topnotch Game Fishing news from November 2019. First-time billfish angler Lee McCourt caught his first-ever black marlin! It was mid-November on a liveaboard Whitsunday sports fishing charter with his father. Also, Lee reeled in his personal best Spanish mackerel on the trip. The weather for the duration of the charter was ideal. With only experiencing very gentle northerly winds for the overnight liveaboard charter at the reef. Our guests were treated to a delicious Whitsundays seafood platter with freshly caught yellowfin tuna sashimi during the evening. Thank you very much, Brian, who caught the tuna. An accurate representation of the finest Whitsundays seafood on a plate!
Junior Angler Reels In Sports Fish
Twelve-year-old junior American angler Jules is showing how sports fishing is done! Within the first fifteen minutes of commencing fishing, he had caught a big sailfish that gave him quite the workout to start his fishing trip. After a quick 15 minutes of fight time, the fish was tagged and released to catch yet another day. Jules enjoys popping and jigging fishing styles, and he gives 100 per cent to every cast or jig he does. This very impressive junior has a considerable dedication to the truly inspirational sport. With his excellent technique and determination, Jules caught various reef fish, including giant trevally and coral trout.
